Tropical Disturbance In Gulf; Tropical Depression Likely In Atlantic

There's a new tropical disturbance out in the Gulf of Mexico and we could see a tropical depression form in the Atlantic by midweek. But Eric Blake, senior hurricane specialist at the National Hurricane Center is confident that neither will pose a threat to the U.S. or any body of land. The disturbance in the Gulf may,however, increase the chance of rain over portions of the southern U.S.
