TAMPA -- Tampa Bay Buccaneers players and coaches held their first media availability for Super Bowl week online, because of the pandemic. A few highlights:
Bucs quarterback Tom Brady says he knows his offense will have to put a lot of points on the board to counteract the Kansas City Chiefs' "explosive" offense.
Bucs linebacker Shaquil Barrett says the defense has gelled since the last time the Bucs played (and lost to) Kansas City in the regular season, by "communicating and over-communicating."
Both Brady and offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich will be watching Chiefs safety and Miami Gardens native Tyrann Mathieu. Leftwich praised his leadership and commitment to the game. "We know what type of player Ty is... we know how he's going to approach this game... we've just got to make sure we're ready to make some plays also."
Super Bowl LV is played Sunday, February 7th at Raymond James Stadium.
